Date of Birth: 22/08/90
Favourite food: Sheryl’s Pasta Bake
Favourite Movie: Marvel movies (transformers, Ironman etc.) and Dexter (TV show)
Favourite Band: it’s between Muse, Birds of Tokyo and Sparkadia (I like good music, not good bands)
Number of Years in Triathlon: 4years
Reason for starting tri’s: Saw Robbo race at Worlds in Perth in 2000 I think, and his determination inspired me- so I did weet-bix TRYathlon in 2004 and went from there
Triathlon Hero (and why?): Greg Welch-bit before my time-but winning World Champs over every distance is unbelievable, and now he’s coaching Crowie to success- an absolute legend!
Favourite training session: Either Sunday long run with a big group-followed by pancakes, or a really hard swim session-nothing makes you feel better!
Least favourite training session: Wednesday Afternoon Ride (WAR) when it’s cold and wet, and when all the roadies feel like going fast
Favourite Race: Any race with a wetsuit swim, good quality flat riding surface, and a hilly run (Mooloolaba fits the bill pretty well)
Hopes for 2009, and beyond (doesn’t have to be tri specific): Stay injury free, have to race of my life at OD Worlds, and qualify for U23 Elite races
If I wasn’t a triathlete I would…: be loaded! And would probably do a lot of swimming and running anyway
5 Dream dinner guests (and why?): Peter Robertson (got something to talk about), Dane Cook (comic relief), Matt Bellamy (for some musical genius), Winston Churchill (for a few witty remarks), and Rachel Bilson (because she’s super hot)
Claim to fame: Emma Watson (Hermoine Granger) added me on MSN messenger in year 7-apparently she knew some of my relatives in UK & A little bit of Robbo’s vomit landed on my shoe at the OBH!
Craziest thing you’ve spent money on: $300 bracelet for my girlfriend-she dumped me 2 days later!
