Date of Birth: 7/7/1990
Favourite food: Chocolate
Favourite Movie: Amelie
Favourite Band: The White Stripes
How long have you been doing Triathlons: 7 years
Reason for starting tri’s: Wanted some more variety than just swimming
Triathlon/Sports Hero (and why?): Emma Snowsill because she signed my hat and T-shirt when I was 13 and she’s still dominating the field today.
Favourite training session: A hard set of 10×100s in the pool followed by a white choc and raspberry muffin with teammates at the café.
Least favourite training session: 1kms at the running track. My face goes bright red and I sound like I’m having an asthma attack trying to breath in enough air to stop me from dying.
Favourite Race: Rockingham with the beautiful flat beach, clear water and a seaside run.
Hopes for 2009, and beyond (doesn’t have to be tri specific): Travel, save money for travelling and compete whilst travelling.
If I wasn’t a triathlete I would…: Be a ballet dancer. I love watching them move across the stage.
Claim to fame: I met a guy named Zuzy on Easter Island who claimed to have played guitar with Axel Rose for a movie made in Easter Island. The movie dramatised the destruction of the two indigenous tribes of the island. Jackie Chan was the lead actor. I’ve also been backstage with a famous reggaeton group from Chile called Los Shamanes.
Craziest thing you’ve spent money on: I’m too tight to do crazy things with money, although I nearly spent $800 on a ball dress.
